L'11º Jamboree mondiale si tenne a Maratona, teatro della famosa battaglia nel 490 a.C. tra gli antichi greci e i persiani, in Grecia, dal 1 all'11 agosto 1963. Al Jamboree hanno partecipato 10.394 scout provenienti da 89 paesi.

The 11th World Scouting Jamboree was held in Maratona, the scene of the famous battle in 490 BC. between the ancient Greeks and the Persians, in Greece, from 1 to 11 August 1963. The Jamboree was attended by 10,394 Scouts from 89 countries.
